Productivity requires workers to enjoy the environment they work in. If the cooling system is faulty there will be an issue with the staff. If the air system has mould pouring into the work place, there will be an issure with elevated sick days, thus productivity. Indoor Air Quality

 
Indoor Air Quality is about the quality of the air we live in, work in, and breathe. There are thousands of bacteria, airborn and on surfaces in the commercial workplace. The bacteria is spread from person to person, from A/C units to the air inside, and from general contaminants physically brought into the work environment.

Contaminants common to the work place are mould, either in the air, floating in through an open door/window, or via the A/C. This is more common  than people know. Another basic and prevelant contaminant is C-diff. Not everyone has the same hygeine practices or knows how to clean their hands correctly after using the facilities. These germs pass from the hands to desk surfaces or equipment simply by touch.

Decontamination is not a difficult process if you have the right technology and methodology. ERI Global can eliminate 99.9% of all contaminants in the work place and at home, including but not limited to Anthrax, C-diff, Ecoli, Influenza, Botulinum toxin A, Stachybotrys chartarum and Aspergillus niger. Clearly Anthrax shouldn't be a problem, but it is good to know the technology and methodology is there.

Cooling Systems

ERI Global is in the business of reducing your carbon footprint and saving you money whilst improving the efficiency and life of your cooling systems. 

ERI Global has the product to safely clean the evaporator and condenser with a food grade chemical, increasing the air flow and efficiency of a cooling system. It is recommended that cooling systems be cleaned every 3-6 months. ERI Global has a second product that relies on ‘Colloid’ technology to repell any dust, debris or moisture from sitting on the core of the evaporator or condenser. This product is an anti-corrosive, anti-fungal, and super hydophilic, less than a micron thick.

This allows for the cleaning (no scubbing, just a hose off) to be done annually without loosing efficiency between cleans as the usual cleans do. This saves you money on several levels.

Firstly, the units need cleaning to operate at best levels. Secondly by coating the core componants and avoiding the interference of dust, debris and moisture, the efficiency of the unit stays at peak for the 12 months saving money. Additionally, this saves money on cleaning, maintenance, electricity and extends the life of the unit as it is not opperating under load.

The treatment to your cooling system will require a service clean and an air flow test after 12 months, without any further treatment for the next 12 months. This will give you two years of efficient cooling and significant savings.

The last of the savings, is the goal of reducing the average number of defrost cycles in a 24 hour period from eight down to two in frezer/cold rooms. This relies on the fact that moisture will not hold to the core and in fact, sheets off the core so it doesn’t have time to freeze and therefore create the need for another defrost cycle. This will also negate the problem of mould building up on the system.

There is a huge energy exchange in a defrost cycle that requires the core to stop cooling, heat up and then re-cool or freeze. If this is happening eight or more times a day, the running cost of the unit will continue to increase. Two defrost cycles a day will show significant immediate savings, not to mention the long term ongoing savings. My goal is to save you a minimum of 10% on the running cost of each unit.

Many tests done by independent engineers in the United States and Australia are showing that this Australian chemical will most often show savings on each treated unit of well in excess of the 10% goal. (Closer to 20%)

MOULD

Health problems associated with high levels of airborne mould spores include allergic reactions, asthma episodes, irritations of the eye, nose and throat, sinus congestion, and other respiratory problems.

For example, residents of homes with mould are at an elevated risk for both respiratory infections and bronchitis. When mould spores are inhaled by an immuno-compromised individual, some mould spores may begin to grow on living tissue, attaching to cells along the respiratory tract and causing further problems.

Generally, when this occurs, the illness is an epiphenomenon and not the primary pathology. Also, mould may produce mycotoxins, either before or after exposure to humans, potentially causing toxicity. (source: Wikipedia)
